    Wayne County Children Services is looking for applicants who want to make a difference in the lives of children & families.

      Visitation Specialists are a part of our Operational Support Services Unit, and are responsible for facilitating visits between children & families. This includes transporting children and families to and from appointments and visits, supervising visits, modeling appropriate parenting behaviors, entering case notes into our computer system, and administering client drug screens. This job includes a large amount of driving. Applicants must have a valid Ohio driver’s license, acceptable driving record, car insurance, a safe reliable personal vehicle to use, and pass a background check, BMV check and drug/alcohol screening. The starting salary for this position is $10.15 per hour.

  • NOW HIRING: CLERICAL SPECIALIST II/ RECEPTIONIST

    Wayne County Children Services is looking for a full-time highly motivated individual to join our support staff team. The successful applicant MUST be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and provide a great first impression both in person and over the phone. 

    This position provides reception and general clerical support to agency staff. Must be detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task, have great communication and organizational skills, be computer literate, and pass a background check, BMV check, and drug/alcohol screening.  

    Benefits include an hourly rate of $10.15 to $13.40, depending on experience; paid sick leave, vacation, personal time and holidays; OPERS; mileage reimbursement; health, dental, prescription, optical and life insurance; flex hours.
