    Wayne County Children Services is accepting applications for a part-time Case Aide position in our Operational Support Services Unit.

    Requirements  for this position include evening and weekend availability, a high school diploma or GED, excellent computer skills, ability to work with adults and children from different social/economic backgrounds, positive attitude, and a willingness to be part of a team who strives to protect children and strengthen families in Wayne County.

    Starting Salary for this position is $9.52 per hour.

    This position is part of our Fiscal/IT Department.  Job responsibilities under general supervision, makes eligibility determinations for client and agency funding; maintains records and accounts; prepares reports; performs data entry and clerical duties.

Welcome to Wayne County Children Services

In partnership with the community, Wayne County Children Services protects children at risk of abuse or neglect and strengthens, preserves and empowers families.  Through evaluation of that risk, we identify and coordinate community services.  We work in collaboration with others to provide these children with safe, nurturing and permanent families, whether their own or another.  We seek to enhance community awareness by educating the public.
