Many of you may have seen a social media post circulating that suggests donating suitcases/backpacks to local agencies for foster children.

 We appreciate the community’s concern for our children and the many inquiries to donate suitcases/backpacks as it is an example of how amazing the Wayne County community truly is!  However, we currently have an ample supply of these items for our children.

 Our agency received a generous donation from a local Wooster company of large vinyl drawstring bags in various colors along with another donation of suitcases for workers to place foster children’s items into instead of garbage bags (see picture).

 If you are interested in other ways to help the children, we can always use gift cards to Walmart or local shoe stores for hard to fit sizes or if a child is in need of shoes.
