JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision makes
eligibility determinations for client and agency funding; maintains
records and accounts and prepares reports. Performs data entry and
clerical duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of secondary
course of study supplemented by course work in bookkeeping and office
practices and procedures including computer data entry with one to three
years job-related experience, or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of department
policies and procedures*, bookkeeping, office practices and procedures,
computer operating systems, database software, and word processing
software. Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form;
develop and maintain an effective working relationship with supervisor,
co-workers and the public; deal with problems involving several variables
in familiar context; calculate fractions, decimals and percentages,
maintain accurate records; sort items into categories according to
established methods; keyboard; operate a computer; operate office
machines; including adding machine, copy machine, microfilm machine, FAX
machine, and paper shredder; maintain confidentiality. Must own, lease, or
have immediate access to safe and reliable (per State Highway Patrol
standards) personal transportation to use for work related
responsibilities, including the transportation of children and/or adults.
